Datacentre

Our servers are located in the UK within a world class, state-of-the-art datacentre to ensure high speed access. A huge amount of detailed research has gone into this location and we make a point of insisting on security, connectivity, redundancy and top of the line equipment. We carefully monitor our servers for uptime and are immediately notified in the event of any outage on the server so that should a problem arise, server technicians are able to act quickly.

We know the importance of hosting our servers in a UK data centre rather than an overseas datacentre. UK based data centre's provide faster access for UK visitors and allows you be safe in the knowledge that the data centre is subject to UK laws and regulations, i.e. data protection.

Network Details

Our servers are located at 4D ByFleet which is one of Europe's best facilities. The data centre features an exceptionally highly specified infrastructure including mist fire protection systems, specialised heat and smoke sensors, raised flooring, and unmatched levels of security.

Power

Their policy guarantees a redundant high-capacity, stable and reliable power supply, with easy scalable expansion in the future. A minimum of 1Kw per square metre secure power is available, with power isolated between customer and maintained indefinitely, plus on-site generation in the event of a utility failure, which can deal with both customer and plant load whilst recharging the UPS.

Fire Detection/Supression

Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) is installed in every facility. These highly sensitive aspirating smoke detectors are linked to the Building Management system which is monitored continually from a network operations centre, provide very early detection to help avoid fire, loss and business disruption. This is coupled with a gas based fire retardant that is environmentally friendly, to put out fires instantly, without damaging equipment.

Climate Control

To ensure optimum performance, all data floors are maintained at a constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative humidity is kept at 50% ± 10%. Both are continually monitored via the BMS.

Building Management System

4D ByFleet facilities operate computerised building management systems that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak detection systems.

Physical Security

The 4D ByFleet datacentre feature totally comprehensive 24/7 security to keep equipment 100% safe. This means clients have the protection of security barriers, 24x7x365 monitoring by on-site personnel to include visual verification of all persons entering the building, CCTV video camera surveillance and a security breach alarm provides the control room with information.
